About Our Recipes
Our recipes are easy to cook family recipes with a no-fuss healthy twist.
We add at least three new recipes weekly so to keep up to date why not join our monthly Kitchen Club where you will also get free recipe and healthy living e-books by simply filling in the form in the right-hand column or by clicking on the following link, Join The Kitchen Club.
When measuring ingredients, I prefer to use cups and Amanda prefers cooking using metric measurements. Therefore, our recipes have been tested using both measurement systems, and on the recipe pages, you can quickly switch between metric and US customary versions.
Most of our recipes are based on four servings. However, you will notice on each recipe page you can easily increase or decrease the number of servings, and if you decide to print the recipe, it will print with the ingredients for the number of servings/people you have set.
When printing a recipe, you can either include the image or leave them off.
Most of our recipes are gluten-free and we rarely use refined sugars.

The nutritional calculations are based on the metric recipes and the US customary will usually be about 3% lower in calories.

I am a stay at home mum with two lovely boys living on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
I love to cook a wide range of foods particularly fish and vegetarian dishes along with desserts and cakes.
In my spare time, I enjoy yoga and walking with the boys and our dog, Bertie, a Tibetan Terrier through the lovely woods and parks that are close to our house.
As a child I was extremely fortunate, my mother was a great cook and my father was a gifted vegetable and fruit gardener.
My mother taught me to cook and it has been my passion ever since. I have also been to cookery classes at local colleges and overseas.
I have a savoury tooth, so I rarely cook desserts or cakes.
Compared to Amanda, I tend to cook more meat dishes, and I like to simplify every recipe I create as much as possible.
